We are awaiting the train here in Carlisle that will take our Canadian guests to their next destination... Inverness.

We drove them, along with Andy and his car, to the station here. Nice sunny day.

Hope to see them again soon.

Many family members gathered in Dumfries yesterday to meet with our Canadian family members. It was really nice.

Personally, I'm not really a sociable family gathering type person, but it was a good day. I need my quiet time tho.

Starting to get really sick of this app and the problems I'm having... Occasionally losing posts after writing them. Also, a bit update that I somehow accidentally deleted a post from last April after I tried to add a tag... For the Cairngorms reindeer we saw. The Queen's coffin is travelling today from the Ballroom at Balmoral to the Throne Room at Hollyroodhouse Palace. It's coincidentally two places we visited earlier this year... in April and in August.

Sadly, one of our guinea pigs, Robbie, was found dead this morning in the little shelter down in the run on the grass. Looks like he died very peacefully.

Robbie was the one that escaped a long time ago and we had a hard time getting him near the stone wall way in the back of the yard. That was a long time ago.

We've been watching the news this afternoon into the early evening... on the sad reports that the Queen may be nearing her end. Her family have flown in and gathered to be with her at Balmoral.
